Response: I used a Speedball RB Linoleum block, and water soluble ink. First time with that particular type of block, usually I use softer blocks. :)

I don't mind yellow, especially the pale sort, I just don't want to live with the quantities of mustardy hues my mother preferred! And thanks for the offer of help with my German. I have lived there twice, once as a child and once as an adult, and while my German is rusty I would never starve, and I can always locate die Toilette und der Bahnhof! Vielen Dank fur alles!
