Vote on Nov. 2! A Postcard Reminder

No matter what your politics are, it's important you exercise your right to vote, on Tuesday, November 2. And why not put up a little sign, to remind other people?

The idea is simple: you're giving your partner a postcard reminder they can put up--like on a bulletin board--at their workplace, school, church, community center, wherever.

You will send one postcard to one partner. Naked or inside an envie--sender's choice. The minimum requirement is that it have the word "Vote" on it. Absolutely everyone can sign up.

Sources for postcards & postcard images online:

• The Syracuse Cultural Workers site has a few, like this nice one for 30 cents.

• Search on "vote" at Google Images --just choose one, download it, print, & paste on a piece of cardboard.

• A really cool source is the American Institute of Graphic Arts' Get Out the Vote Project --it's where I got the above image, by Carrie Cantwell. They have 230 (!) beautiful posters you can download as PDFs.

Please don't say you don't have time. You can just cut out a piece of 4" x 6" cardboard and write "Vote" on it with a big marker. =smile=

Let's all participate in our great democracy!
