About Me

My name is Jennifer and I love crafting, mail, planners, and stickers! I've also recently started sending and receiving zines and collages. I'm a former wildlife biologist and I used to teach ESL online and overseas. I currently teach middle school Social Studies. I love sending and receiving mail. I collect flattened pennies, postcards, and enamel pins. I find endless reasons to take road trips. I take a lot of pictures. I like cheesy roadside attractions and Mothman.

Favorite colors: Blue, green, any ocean color. I'm not a big fan of hot pink but I like coral colors.

Likes: Dragons, birds, dogs, sci-fi and fantasy, Japanese themes and patterns, buttons, stickers, origami paper, yarn, cell phone charms, craft magazines, space operas, crypto-zoology, goats, werewolves, kokeshi dolls, washi tape (!!!)

Dislikes: Religious themed items, anything even remotely related to the Twilight books or movie, no babies or motherhood, please! Nothing political, sexist, or racist.

Response: I'm so glad it arrived and you liked it!! I bought the washi sheets on amazon and printed them myself! I'm still trying to figure out how to make it easier to peel them though!

Response: It 100% does! There is an image of the sky and the birds are flying in the SKY?! It's also a postcard just like the swap coordinator sent to me! This is insane. I don't agree with this rating at all. I sent the same type of image the swap coordinator sent after my found image collage was rejected. I received a postcard with birds flying in the sky. I resent a postcard with birds flying in the sky? How does that rate a 3? All you did was lower my rating for no reason because you didn't like what I sent.

I LOVE the sticker dump page too, what an adorable idea! I also have an addiction to buying stickers, LOL! A 2 foot tall marigold plant?! WOW! That is incredible! Your newly adopted dog sounds so sweet:) We adopted a dog a few years ago who also had really bad anxiety from his previous home, so I totally relate. I am so excited to add your zine into my collection!! I also LOVE the PC of the giant mailbox, the adorable notecard and the little goodie images!!
