About Me

I have come back to swapbot after a long hiatus (12 or 13 years). Life got crazy busy but I always wanted to come back, and finally made the time. I am a Mum to 2 kids 12 & 17 and 2 cats and wife to my best friend of 25 years.

Things I like to do

  • I love to read (almost) all genres, and write fantasy, spec-fic and YA.

    • I will try almost any craft, currently focusing on fiber/yarn crafts, such as spinning, weaving, crochet, needle felting and wet felting. I also love to sew, and have too many wips to count.

    • Papercrafts inclding scrapbooking, journaling supplies envie making, atcs etc.

Colours, patterns etc...

My favourite colours are purple, blue and green. I am not a big fan of pink or yellow, but I can tolerate them ;). I do like the odd paisely pattern but not bold geometric patterns. I also like the old faded postmarked/mappy background print(if that makes any sense!!).

Animals

All animals, including prehistoric. Hippos, marine life, reptiles, birds of prey...

Comment: A little late, but I understand that sick children take priority! Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the book with me. I love Neil Gaiman, but I haven't read any of his books for younger audiences; this sounds like one I would enjoy.
