I want to add but I donÂ´t understand this:

you send your blog link to the "assigned partners" in a PM

once you receive the 5 links, you check out those blogs!

Cristina, yes you have got the idea. You will check out the partners blogs who have sent you their blog links in PM, then you send your blog link to the 5 partners who were assigned to you and they check out your blog.
