| This is a private swap. All invitations have been issued. Hi ladies: It looks like all of the journals from the round robin swap are done or on the way home, so here's the just us slam swap I mentioned. Everyone saw an example of a slam in my journal, so you know the basic concept. For this swap we'll each make a slam and send it around round-robin style. To keep postage costs down, please create your slam so it fits in a 6x9 manila or padded envelope. Decorate your cover, create a sign in/symbol area or page and then your slam questions. I use tiny rubber stamps, but any way is fine as long as it's clear that it's you responding to a slam question. Any theme or style is fine for the slam (notebook, journal, tag book, stapled pages, accordion-style, etc.) Just have fun. We'll follow the same format that Gramsbuttonbox established for the initial round-robin swap. You'll always send to the same person for the duration of the swap. Sign-up by Wednesday, July 22. You can start creating your slam now so it's ready to go when or shortly after the send-to partner has been assigned. I'll prepare a send-to list -- with Mary's help, I hope! :) -- and e-mail it to everyone so you'll be able to track the journey of your slam. Please be courteous and fair as you participate in the grand slam swap. That means:
NOTE: Be sure your name, forum name, address and e-mail address are on the slam in a place that's visible. | |
