Description:

This swap is INTERNATIONAL.

You will make one HANDCRAFTED witch doll for your partner.

This doll MUST BE AT LEAST 4 INCHES (10 CENTIMETERS) tall.

It may be taller if the crafter so chooses it to be, but it is not required to be any taller than 4 inches.

This doll is to be "stitched" (sewn or embroideried) in some way, via by handstitching, machine stitching or needlepoint.

Dolls are to use the TRADITIONAL ARCHETYPE of a black pointy hat. Everything else from the traditional archetype (i.e. black robes, broom, pointy shoes, striped socks, etc.) is purely optional.

I'm giving a very long time for this one since it is a handcrafted swap, and I'd like everyone to receive their dolls by Samhain.

What an adorable swap! Great idea...thanks for letting me know. But, I'm with PrivateDean: if my life depended on it, I couldn't sew a button on. :-\

PrivateDean and Ogma, you do realize that the swap send date isn't until October, right? Surely that would give you a bit of time to practice sewing if you really thought you needed to... :P

ohhhhh I am so joining this swap I love sewing and it gives me a chance to use some of the discontinued fabrics that I got onsale, I got a few halloween fabrics real cheap........

My sewing skills are not that great, but if I have time, I'll see if I can learn how to make a doll before the sign up date. On my watchlist for now. :)
