VC: Collage/Mixed Media Index Card Series, Part 3

It will surprise no one to hear that I found my inspiration for this series while scrolling aimlessly through Pinterest. I thought to myself hmmmm, this would make a really nice series of index cards for the amazing members of Vintage Cafe...and I was done. My scrolling was finished. My idea is to make a bunch of these, one at a time, to join together (or not)...maybe by punching a hole in the top left corner and putting them on a binder ring; maybe by punching the hole and using ribbon or twine and possibly a charm or two, as you'd do for a tag (I like this idea very much!); maybe by sewing them together to. make a sort of booklet. Anyway...let's create something wonderful, much like the swap graphic...but in your own style, of course...using a variety of mixed media items and finishes such as paint, sprays, papers of all sorts, ribbons, trims, lace, sewing (hand or machine)...I can't list all the possibilities! For this second index card, let's go with a background made of random paper strips and a focal design reminiscent of SPRING...a pretty flower, a bird, ladies in spring dresses and hats...it's your choice! I can't wait to see what my swap partner makes for me!
