Hey everyone! This is a pocket letter swap. Don't know what a pocket letter is? It's a crafty pen pal letter swap made with a baseball card sleeve. They can be elaborate and be sent as a padded envelope or simple and sent with 1 stamp! I'm going to include several helpful links in the comments below this post! So for this swap we will have the following minimum requirements. 1) Completely decorate 1 side of a 9 pocket sleeve. (Sleeves are $6 here if you don't know what they are or don't have any - https://a.co/d/4tSVlKs ) 2) Each pocket should be a minimum of 2 layers. This means that the decoration can be cardstock or paper plus a sticker, washi tape, tag, etc. Alternatively, you can make a shaker pocket which is sealed so that sequins or shaker pieces don't fall out. 3) You should fill at least 6 of the pockets with something to share with your pocket letter pal. This can be a sealed tea packet, some stickers, ephemera, pocket letter inserts, tags, washi tape samples, stamps..the list goes on. In at least one pocket please add in a note about you or a letter to your pal! You can leave a maximum of 2 pockets empty. 4) Thematically: Your pocket letter should be about books, literature, reading or you can take up a challenge and tailor it to your partners profile if they list their favorite book(s). Please note that you should at minimum take into account their dislikes so, for example, you aren't sending a tea bag to someone who doesn't enjoy tea. This swap is craft/partner heavy so it's going to be a 5 week due date from partner assignments. Because of the potential issues with international shipping, I have to limit this to US only. Sorry folks~ HAPPY CRAFTING BOOK LOVERS! |
