I dont know about you all, but I hate it when my cold glasses sweat all over the table! so lets make a set of four coasters for our partner. They need to be made from fabric and of a good size. We all know to look at their partners profile for at least an idea of what they might like. So look around but most of all-have fun!

So- 4 coasters to one partner. Easy, as can be.

Hi, I would love to make some coasters, what would you use to line them? Just regular thin batting?? I have never made any before.

FYI, I made a set for my MIL with denim as the back and nothing on the inside, they seem to work just fine =)

I found this pattern a couple of months ago and have since made 3 sets of 4 coasters for gifts. The tutorial shows using 6 colors/patterns, I just made a set with just 3 colors/patterns by making the A square, the C square and two of the B squares the same. They turned out totally cool, check it it out. You'll see what I mean by A, B and C once you see the tutorial. Very fun to make!

One other thing, I didn't use the fusible interfacing and the test coaster I now use works just fine for cold beverages. No need for it (I think) unless you're thinking of using for a hot beverage. Great project for those larger scraps of fabric or fat quarters.
