My writing is very sporadic, so I would love to get better at developing a daily writing habit.

I also want to get better at writing daily, or at least more often than I do now.

Showing up at the page -- meaning writing on a daily schedule.

I tend to wake up, turn on news, play games on phone and then fall asleep again. By the time I actually get moving it's mid-day.

I've yet to come up with a reward system or incentive that gets me up and out the door. I took an early retirement to write and my theme for 2016 is: Make the most of this opportunity. I've done writerly things (two writer conferences, research, reading, character analysis), but little actual writing in the first 5 weeks of "retirement."
