My best friend, who is more like a sister to me, is dying from a very rare disease, called Mitochondrial Myopathy. She has just gone on Hospice care. We don't know how long she has. It is breaking my heart and her husband's as well.

I would love to send her a HUGE card shower - just a card that says I'm thinking of you, or praying for you, or the like (no get well cards, please!). She also loves stickers, so if you could send her a few she would appreciate that. This is a huge group, so I am hoping for a big response. It really is simple just to send her a card!

This would mean a lot to me, to Brenda, and Carl her husband.

So you will send Brenda a card, and send a card to your partner - wishing them a great day or something similar!

PLEASE do not send Halloween cards as this would greatly upset her.

What a sweet blessing. Not only am I sending a card but I will be praying for Brenda, her family and for you. I am a cancer survivor and 2yrs ago my family lost my sweet cousin (6mths older than me) to cancer. It is a horrible journey for everyone involved. I thank you for this "swap" because you are giving us a gift of uplifting Brenda.
