Description:

This is a newbie friendly swap. It should be extremely easy to do. This is to help newbies get "real mail" ratings. Experienced swappers are also welcome.

Very simply, just choose a one thing from the list below plus a small note/letter on what got you started here on swap-bot.

  • unused notecard with envelope
  • 5 stickers - none smaller than a US penny (about 3/4 inch or 2 cm)
  • unused postcard
  • puzzle - word search, crossword, sudoku - whatever one you like
  • photo you took (as long as it is clean!)
  • bookmark
  • 2 sheets of memo paper

What to do:

  1. Choose something on the list and the note/letter and send to your partner by the deadline.

  2. A fully filled-out profile for newbies and a rating of 4.8 for all others.

  3. I will go through and ban as I see fit right before assigning partners. If you are banned and want to know why, please PM me.

  4. I will angel if need be. If you flake, you will be listed as a flaker and I will not allow you in any of my future swaps.

Looks like you have a top ten swap soon. This is a great idea for a type two and three swap that is easy for newbies! I will watch because my list of swaps is near complete full, but as soon as I get two or three more sent out I will sign up. I have today to get some ratings done first.

This is the fifth of June, I am wondering how much longer it will take to make thius a top ten swap.

@fawnscrafts I hope it does make it to a top ten swap. :) I remember how hard it was to get some swaps to get ratings enough to join other ones. I figured I would help out newbies if I can. If this does well, I might do another one like it. :)

Awesome swap idea. I too love helping newbies out. By the way newbies even though the rules say send one item, if you send more than one you'll probably get a heart rating. Or even just one item that's really tasteful. ;) It's great that this swap made it #1. Congrats @ladyofunicorns

@OrganizedHere Memo paper is kinda like stationery paper. It is smaller than a full sized stationery sheet. (To me) A stationery sheet is an A4 or 8 1/2 x 11 and a memo is smaller than that. Don't know if that helps at all...
