This ideal came from @sherig47 so thought we would give it a try.

A journal pen pal swap would be fun one partner you write a page in the journal for a week send to your partner and they do the same and send it back to you it depends on the partners how many times they send it back and forth. ****Let's send them back 1 time forsure!!****

Can be any size journal you want just NOT really small. let make then at least 5X7, let's decorite the page a little, maybe with a few stickers, stamp with rubber stamps, draw on them.****Have fun making it & fun for your partner to receive back 1 time,****

so, do you mean we will write a letter a day for a week? or only one letter in that week?

It would be fun to have this as an ongoing swap... I like the 20 question journal swaps, but don't like the 9.00 shipping. :(

Really, if everyone sends a journal to one partner, and receives a journal from one partner, and everyone decides to keep swapping the journals back and forth, you will end up with 2 journal pals. The one you sent to, and the person who sent to you (if you write them back and they write you back and on and on). I think it sounds fun but might be costly after a while. I think after the initial send back for this swap, you could agree with your partner on swapping the journal every two weeks instead..

they are suppose to be smaller 80 page journals. i found a cute one at the dollar store I am going to embelish the out side.
