This month, let's explore stump dolls. So for this swap, please send your 1 partner, 1 stump doll that is at least 4 inches. For this swap, a stump doll is a doll that has some sort of stump as a base. It is usually a flat, heavy object that weights the doll down. This usually means no legs, often no feet. Traditionally the stump was made from a stump of wood, but nowadays it can be made from anything from a bottle filled with sand to wood, to paper-mache or fabric that is weighted.
