Comment: Your zine was super special to me. I feel like we had similiar interests in toys in our childhood. First of all.... the Care Bear on the cover.... ahhhh Sunshine Bear.... or Cheer Bear? So sweet and then Holly Hobbie. My mom did my whole nursery in Holly Hobby and my grandpa and dad did the Holly Hobbie paint by number pictures for my baby room. I still remember them and wish I had them. I do have the doll and some of the fabric and a H.H. calendar from 1975 when I was born!! And I also had the mean bullies at my school. But I survived those jerks! Oh and out of everything.... when I saw the picture of The Gingham Girls paperdolls I squeeled! I bought a PDF of the paper dolls and have printed them out. And the Gingham Girl physica set that I owned back in the early/ mid 80's was Carrie the brunette girl. Crazy how much I could relate to your zine. Thank you do so much! I still love paper dolls and toys. I love to collect toys from my childhood. I have a few of the Fisher Price Little People sets like the A Frame, the brown house, the village and the farm. I also have some Garbage Pail trading cards and my Bedtime Bear care Bear.
