The "real" page is fantastic-the elements are wonderfully nature oriented-great old illustrations and the old texas almanac background. Comment: I went through the same challenges with this. I found that allowing the stamps to sit for a few seconds longer helped as well as choosing a stamp with simple lines. I also found cheap watercolours worked better also. I love the colours you chose. Thank you!

Comment: So lovely. What a great idea! I honestly struggled making my Lace a focal point too! This was the hardest so far for me. I could have done a lace rosette by gathering once edge and forming it into a circle but it made the center too thick for one stamp and I hate paying extra for postage!! Lol! Thank you for joining my swap! ETA: the post office slaughtered your envelope. It arrived torn open with an entire corner missing. Your card was all torn up too. If there were any extras, they are gone. I was amazed that they ATC was still in there. A minor miracle to be sure!!
Response: Oh my goodness, that is what I was afraid of. I hope the ATC was at least still in one piece. One more reason to avoid international swaps unless they only require the minimum postage, $14 is a lot to pay for you to receive a hot mess. Thank you for being awesome!😎

Response: You are right. It was packing tape. I finally was able to afford a laminator,so from now on no more packing tape:)

Response: If the card you speak of has a checkerboard on the left side it is a photocopy of a recipe card I got in a swap and I just copied it to different colors of cardstock.
