Comment: Thank you. Last Saturday I got up early to bake cookies for the neighbors and by 12:00 I was done! I put the rest of the cookie dough in the freezer. I didn’t have any help so next year I think I will bake bread instead of cookies. But it was satisfying to deliver them and see the look on their faces. Merry Christmas!

Comment: Thanks for an Idaho card for the letter "I." I want VERY much to see Idaho sometime soon. My father was offered a job as a park ranger at the end of WW 2, but in his family, the only honorable job was farming and they went home to work for his father until they could get enough $$ to lease a farm on their own. I've often wondered how different our life could have been with a good job, benefits, retirement, etc. rather than barely surviving but for food grown and preserved from gardens and our own milk, eggs, etc. AND we'd have been living in the beauty of Idaho! Have a very Merry Christmas!

No snow for us although we may get some flurries on Friday. . . we get sporadic snow in Alexandria although we have had some heavy snow storms but certainly nothing like you get in Idaho!
