Comment: Alyce---I love the pumkins--I think they are die cuts or Cricut cut outs,But i want to learn how to add pen/pen techniques that give them depth and realiism .This ATC gets such depth and realism. I/d love to know how you do it! This ATC certainly gets a place in my VERY BEST ATCs!
Response: They are punch art. I use to hang out w/ Stampin Up people and fell in love with punch art. If you are on Splitcoast stampers, go to the gallery & search punch art. Some links will take you to blogs for directions & techniques.

We have the same sun thing as in Alaska, just not where I live. Our country is divided by the polar circle, and above it they have a long and dark winter, and a summer where it's not hot at all, but the sun shines anyway. I haven't been there in the winter to experience the total darkness, but I have been up there twice in the summer, and it's a really strange experience when you are not used to it.

Comment: I wanted to let you know right away that Semora made it home in one piece. She's still adjusting to her new home, but I think she is happy with the place of honor on my kitchen window sill. I made her a little stand to get her up a little higher so we can see each other better and she gets a better view of the yard and patio. I think she's got her work cut out for her, getting the bees and butterflies organized after so many years of relaxed schedules and no order. She likes a challenge and I am happy that you could spare her from your garden. I appreciate it because she's obviously been an asset to your garden, for your garden is glorious.
Thank you very much for my fairy, I love her, and for the nice job you did on her story. It really put a smile on my face, and it's nice having some guidelines to help ease the transition for household to household. Thank you for getting into the spirit of the swap. My package really made my day!
