It looks just like my cat Charlie who i had to take to live with my parents this summer because my toddler was too rough with him. Comment: Your art is superb. I'm blown away at your detailing on the shark- they're gorgeous sea beings and I'm so proud to have that in my collection even though you claim it's a "failed attempt". The bunny mildly scares me as something I'd avoid if I saw it at a kid's birthday party or as an animatronic. Reminds me of a marshmallow version of Frank the Rabbit from Donnie Darko. Really cool but creepy! <3

Response: Thank you for your kind words! If I remember right, I used black textured card stock and Prismacolor colored pencils. They are softer than other pencils I have tried. I start by blocking out a shape with a mid tone, then use a light color to define highlights, then bring in darker colors for shadow. Black is always the very last color to finish up the card.

Comment: I can't remember if I got this or not. So since it might be that I out it away and failed to rate and you have a good record, I'm rating a 5. ETA: I found it!! The background doesn't look like vellum (mulberry paper over patterned paper) but the tag definitely is vellum. And you stamped on it so nicely and clearly which can be very hard to do! Sorry for the hassle. BTW, I never doubted you sent it.

Comment: This is proberbly my favorite fox ATC to date, I sort of sat looking at it for ages working out how you had drawn it and put it together, the shaded edges and everything were lovely.
Not to mention a nice card and quick send. Thank you very much
Response: Thank you! I liked how it came out, too. I brush a pigment based ink pad (for rubber stamps) along the edges to create the darkened effect. I think it finishes off the edges of some of my ATCs nicely.

Response: Thank you! I used Prismacolor colored pencils. They used to be made by a company called Berol, but now they may be made by a company called Sanford. Either way, they are the softest, most easily layered colored pencils I have ever come across.
