Comment: Thanks for the PC's and the really great letter. The extra PC happens to be one of our favorite places on the coast. And to answer your question, we did not choose Arizona. The Army sent us there so once my husband finally retired, we moved back to his hometown. That also put us closer to our oldest child and her husband who live only about 10 minutes away, and somewhat closer to our 2 sons. We are also loving the trees, the cooler temps, and even the rain!

Over the years there have been some that I have swapped with in different swaps and it is always nice to send or received from them. I used to do postcrossing but haven't sent any on there for several years now. Most of those seem to be international and I have to limit those because cost keeps going up and my income can't keep up. Hope to swap with you again sometime.

i also love the way you described nature and water because i love it just as much.
Response: I have not been near the lighthouse. It is set on a rock in the ocean and to get to it you need a helicopter go guess maybe a boat. It has a colorful background. And is now for sale. Font know if anyone would really buy it, but it is an interesting idea

It was a cheerful ugly which is perfect:) This swap is probably one of my all-time favourites, maybe tied with the Cardboard PC swap (make a PC using recycled cardboard from packaging). I always have to wonder how ugly postcards come into being, like who exactly designs some of the truly hideous postcards and what was their intent?? I wish I was a postcard designer! They have installed yellow flashing light warnings for the truckers when the gusts get too strong. They need to pull their rigs over in a safe place as soon as possible. Many times they have been blown over!

Comment: Sewing: I made a LOT of masks. My unfinished project is quilting on the front of sweatshirts. My machine is from 1956 and on it's last legs. I'm thinking of getting a inexpensive one just for small projects and hemming pants. I'm pretty short so I have to alter things. Thanks for sharing our common interests. 🧡

Comment: I do not have any pc from New Orleans so thanks so much! I love this one especially with the street view. Thanks a bunch! I hope to visit there one day. I do love to travel. I was raised by a mom who was traveling throughout her youth, then young adult years. She took us as kids and all through our years with her places usually back to the east coast, Canada and Mexico. I lived in Mexico for 6 months and then visited again for a month. I have now taken our kids there a couple times and they love to travel so much too! We drove from Las Vegas to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada back in 2017. My husband and I a couple years ago got to go for a couple weeks to Europe... to Denmark, Sweden, and Germany. What an amazing experience. We want to visit other European countries that we have never seen. Due to Covid restrictions, we will be waiting awhile for that. We had hoped to do that for our 20 year wedding anniversary this year. Instead we are taking our oldest child, a high school Senior to Hawaii in 18 days to visit her University on Oahu that she will attend in the fall. This will be our 2nd trip there. We went there for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We are getting excitied and hope and pray we do not catch Covid19 before hand. We have driven to Seattle a number of times since my husband is from there. We also have been to Portland and other areas like Multnomah Falls, Columbia River valley... the Dalles, and this last summer we went to Bend and then followed the coast all the way down to Santa Barbara, CA. and home. What adventures. Best wishes. I hope you can get out as well and have some fun! Thanks again for a great pc. Maggie

Because we always had big family gatherings. But no way can we do that now. We can't even leave our town. Because the Pandemic is here & we are on lockdown big time! It saddens me, that I can't see my 2 daughters & 1 son for the holidays & my grand kids. But I do have my other 2 sons that live here with us and also a nephew, who also lives here. We will make the most of it. Thank god, they invented online shopping. Because that's what I've done for Christmas gifts. I hope you get to spend Christmas with your loved ones. Take care & please be safe.
