Comment: Great take on this theme! Love herons as we have some blue herons that live at the lake we visit. Such graceful birds. It's rare that I like someones hand carved stamp but I really like yours. Spectacular job! Not sure what i will do with the piece of hand dyed fabric but setting aside for something special.

I love the old vintage magazines and books, especially combining on an ATC that makes them extra special. I would love to know how you did the awesome background on the card it all ties in beautifully. Thanks for the pretty ribbon and lace, I can't wait to use them. I hope I get you as a partner again!
Response: Thank you. For the background I collaged text pieces onto a large sheet, tissue papered over that, then added bits of light paint and stamping. When cards were cut from the large piece, I added stenciled images. I love making a large piece then cutting cards out of that.

Comment: Very nice ATC. Thank you. I do want to mention that the button is broken into pieces and the sweet little coin is loose in the card protector. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be glued on somewhere? It's best to use some kind of padding in the envelope when mailing an ATC with embellishments.
Response: The coin was on the bamboo button (the only one I had.) I can send you a coin with a brad attachment loop to be put in the blank space at the top of the card. Vee

She put several wonderful, heavy ATC sized papers in the envelope to protect the inchies. The papers were embossed, textured and some- if not all, were handmade. Two had flower petals in the paper. Comment: I love these cards - they are sumptuous. How did you do the background?
Response: If its a reddish background with scratches and glitter, its watercolor crayon on watercolor paper, then brushed heavily with a wet watercolor brush and scratched with the bristles of a hairbrush and some glitter paint spread on thinly.
