If we are home we shut all the lights off in the front of the house. My husband used to even move the trash barrel so it blocked the front door. Since Covid though we don’t seem to have as many trick or treaters in our neighborhood.

So much life along the way! Some are inaccessibly for people such as myself, but there are hikers who're able to do so and it's lovely seeing the photographs.

Comment: Stacey, What a delightful card. I love the hummingbirds. I love most all birds. Some people don't like certain birds but I try to like them all. They all are created and have a purpose. I hear them sing early each day since I was a small child. I also loved the quotes about rain. We too were having a lot of rain. I love the rain most days and like to watch the clouds. I love the sky and the wind is so wild and unpredictable with a mind of its own. It goes wherever it wants. Thank you for the goodies. :) It made my day :)

The book Invisible Child by Andrea Elliot I have read & you're right, it is really good! Have you read Vittorio the Vampire by Anne Rice? Is one of her best books ever I read! I loved it!

Comment: Thank you for your wonderful letter. I lived in WY for about 10 months. I knew it was temporary and tried to visit and take in as much as possible while there. It’s beautiful and I enjoyed it. I was so happy to see Missouri again after having to deal with snow in June there. I do want to go back some day and see it again. Speaking of chickens, I too need to get my rear in gear and clean out the henhouse soon. Today is supposed to be 54 degrees and I suspect all this snow on the ground will turn to sludge. The “girls” will have their coop a muddy mess. I enjoyed your letter! Hope to meet you at the mailbox in the future.

The first story was just straight up shocking and disgusting omg. I can't understand how people can send things like that, old and smelling like smoke. The postal office in my country apparently inspected your letter as they put their seal of "inspected" on it, but I think everything is in there! The postcards and stickers were just so cute. Comment: Thanks for your letter. Parts of Masschusetts might have had weather like yours but on Cape Cod we've hardly seen snow at all. It's a lovely place to visit so I hope you'll put it on your to do list. We too are something a summer tourist place but I think your summer people are richer than outrs (or maybe they just have fancier cars)

Comment: I have heard of Kristin Hannah, and have read two books by her: Winter Garden and The Nightingale Both were good. I never moved on other other books. Thanks for the recommendation. It is motivating. I do love your bookmarks.
