Comment: Thank you for the Durham postcard. The burning bush is invasive in your area but here, people actually buy them to plant in their yards. I had one at my other house and one day I heard something outside, opened the door and a lady was cutting some branches off of it. She didn't know anyone was home so I had startled her. I would have let her cut the branches anyway, but I thought it was rather bold of her to just take them with out asking.

I enjoyed reading about the little blonde boy and then eek about the dark shadow. I've had that experience as well. I have several ghost stories all true. Heck, I could write a book with my experiences. I swear I'm a ghost magnet. Most I have of ghost I have seen & some not & wouldn't ever show themselves. The worst one in my mom's father's house. He let me & my 1st husband ( am in 2nd marriage of 30 yrs. now) have his house, when he moved in with my mom. My grand dad always said it was haunted. But never said how haunted. This story is a real long one. If you have any other ghost stories to tell or tell me more about the 150 yr. old house( Esp. your 2 boys had seen the ghost too), we could do a private swap & I could tell you about my grand dad's house.
